Definition “high-quality“ and “sustainable“

Our definition of “high-quality“ and “sustainable“

What does “high-quality” and “sustainable” mean in the context of merchandising and give-aways?

High-quality

Sustainable

Durability
Investment in items that last longer. Products with a longer lifespan need to be replaced less often. This is not only good for our customers, but also for the planet (see definition of sustainable).
Product lifespan

Everything that lasts longer due to higher quality (see under durability) is by definition more sustainable.
Material and aesthetics
High-quality can encompass various aspects such as the type of material (e.g., avoiding plastic), the haptics and feel of a product (surface finishing, craftsmanship, etc.), its weight or lightness (context-dependent), and its color. It is important to note that the interpretation of high-quality materials and aesthetics may vary across different cultures.
Added value/acceptance
The longer and more frequently an item is used, the more sustainable it becomes. To promote regular use, we offer items that add value to the customers' lives. This principle also applies aesthetically, as timeless design pieces have a longer lifespan compared to trend items that only last one season.
 Production/sourcing
We adhere to our corporate guidelines on sustainable supply chains, resource and waste management, circular recycling, and labour rights. Additionally, we prioritise supporting local suppliers whenever possible.
